Clothing
We can't find the right clothing! We've looked everywhere for something decent and fitting, but it's becoming very hard to find something perfect in such little amount of time. I think we're going to have to settle for something a bit more expensive than we had thought, or maybe something that we don't think fits in that well with our story.

More inpsirational films
Another inspiration is the film The Ring. I've taken the clip that the film is based on, as it's short, very eerie and uses disturbing non-diegetic music. I've also taken two clips of Samara Morgan (the ghostly girl) climbing out of the well from Ringu (the Japanese version of The Ring) as well as The Ring. Here are the clips:
The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death
Our biggest film inspiration The Woman in Black has created a sequel! The film is also based on a novel, however Angel of Death was written by Martyn Waites instead of Susan Hill. I'm not too sure whether the film will be as thrilling as the first due to this, but I am still very excited! Much like the previous film, Angel of Death is based around the child murdering Woman in Black of Eel Marsh House, which will hopefully make it just as inspiring. The film releases on 2nd January, so for now here's the trailer:
Another inspirational film!
So, here is the hanging scene from the film Sinister. This scene shows a family in the woods slowly being pulled up and hung from a tree branch in an abandoned forest. At the beginning of the scene, there is a lot of suspense as there is no action and creepy non-diegetic sound effects are used. The scene then becomes more animated, as the family are slowly pulled up and hung. This scene is very tense and disturbing due to the horrific content of the scene and the creepy sound effects. We hope to have this same effect on the viewers with our two minute film, as well as using the forest setting.
Storyboarding
These are the storyboards we have created for our two minute film. These aren't very detailed right now and we will probably be updating them soon, but here they are!
Props
For our two minute film, we plan on using a variety of props. In our practice film, we decided to use a modern public swing which we realized we weren't very keen on. Due to the swing being public, we had lots of disruptions from people during filming which made the film look very unprofessional and armature, which we didn't want. Due to this, we have decided to buy our own swing which looks much more rustic and old, and also portable. During our practice film we also used a teddy bear which was very clean and well kept, which didn't look very effective for our film. We have now decided to used a Victorian-looking doll, as we feel that it will look very creepy and make the film much more creepy. Here are a few images similar to what we hope to use:

Practise film!
So, as promised, this is our test film! It isn't very good, but it's been very helpful as it's shown us what looks good, and what doesn't look good. For our setting we used Tuckers park, but due to the disruption of people and the fact that it isn't very appropriate for what we're looking for we've decided that we're going to use Hilly Fields instead. We've also decided that we're going to try and use the music used in TWIB's opening, as the creaking of the swing doesn't match the film. Here is the test film and the music:

TV Drama BFI trip
Today we went to the TV drama part of the BFI presentations. Unfortunately we were unable to stay for the entire presentation, but the part we were able to see was very helpful. We all now feel more confident answering exam style questions and hopefully we can apply the tips given to our real exams! Below is mine, Kelly and Holly's pre-BFI vlog:

Test film
On Sunday 30th November, my group and I decided to produce a test film. We took our camera gear, props and actress to Tuckers Park where we filmed for the morning. The film isn't up on YouTube yet, but we've managed to put up a vlog and bloopers reel. This is what we produced!
